FAQ – Support for public authorities
Are your staff armed when carrying out operations for the authorities?
Not as a matter of course. Armed protection is only provided where explicitly required by the terms of the assignment and subject to the necessary legal authorisation. In most public-sector operations, a professional, de-escalating approach without the use of weapons is sufficient.
How many people typically attend an appointment?
Usually 1–2 staff members per appointment. In cases of increased risk, we increase this to 3–4. The decision is made following a risk assessment and in consultation with the commissioning body.
Do your staff wear uniforms or plain clothes?
Both are possible. For evictions, we usually wear a uniform (to convey authority); for social interventions, we often wear a suit (to help de-escalate the situation). We will decide together with you before the operation.
Have your staff been trained to use our equipment?
Yes. Before the operation begins, you will receive a briefing on your fire alarm, intruder alarm and access control systems. In the case of specialised systems (clean rooms, production facilities), this can be provided by your systems manager on request.
Can we book you on a regular basis for recurring appointments?
Yes. We work with many psychiatric hospitals and government departments on the basis of framework agreements. This reduces the administrative burden and ensures reliable availability.
